PS3 looks like crap when running old and new PS2 games!!!

This video has a side by side movie of FFX with both the PS2 and the PS3 running at the same time. I just bought FFXII and I own a PS3 and im upset that i will have to rehook up my PS2 just to play it! Sony please for the love of all that is good FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
